Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients in clients' homes or community-based locations, implementing evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior. Operate as part of a clinical team, directly implementing skill-building and care plans, and accurately record session data using electronic devices. Create a positive learning environment, engage with families, and collaborate with families and other providers to enhance treatment effectiveness. This entry-point, part-time role is suitable for individuals pursuing experience in ABA/psychology and related fields, with opportunities to grow within the ABA field.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and passion for helping children with Autism
- Patience and compassion
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum 6 month commitment
- No experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Education or early childhood development
- ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism
- Experience as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician
- Paraprofessional, instructional aide, or teaching assistant experience
- After-school programs or camp counseling
- Healthcare support (DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, caregiver)
- Patience, compassion, and ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
