Job Summary
ABA Therapist in Hackensack, NJ provides one-on-one ABA services to clients in their homes or community locations, implementing evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior. You will record session data using electronic devices, collaborate with families and providers, and contribute to treatment effectiveness as part of a clinical team. The role is offered as part-time with opportunities for afternoon/evening hours, and emphasizes readiness to learn, patience, compassion, and reliable transportation. No prior experience required and opportunities to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course are encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism
- Patience, compassion, and ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
- Reliable method of transportation
- Minimum 6 month commitment required
