Job Summary
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Support Plans using evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to implement behavior management strategies and provide direct skills training. Monitor intervention effectiveness, adjust programming, and maintain accurate documentation of client progress in compliance with ODP regulations. Assist in resolving problematic situations, respond to emergencies, and ensure required supervision levels for assigned individuals. Maintain a positive professional role model while operating vehicles with a valid driver's license as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend, read, write and speak English
- Ability to use excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to use telephone, voice mail, copier, facsimile machine, computer and calculator
- Ability to work effectively with people both one-on-one and in a team environment, facilitating their growth and development
- Ability to resolve non-routine situations properly
- Ability to be observant and intuitive
- Ability to be dependable and punctual
- Ability to work on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- Ability to operate vehicles with a valid driver's license in accordance with applicable state laws, insurance provider requirements and company policies and procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals who are medically/behaviorally acute
- Prior experience working with a dual diagnosis population
