Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions, serving as an integral member of the clinical team to implement skill building and care plans. Record session data accurately using electronic devices while fostering a positive learning environment and collaborating with families to enhance treatment effectiveness. Services are delivered in clients' homes or community-based locations, with all positions starting part-time and requiring a minimum six-month commitment. Candidates must complete the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course, though no prior experience is needed as paid training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
- Reliable method of transportation
- Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course
- Minimum 6 month commitment required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Education or early childhood development
- Experience in Childcare, babysitting, or youth mentorship
- Experience in Teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide roles
- Experience in After-school programs or camp counseling
- Experience in Behavioral health, mental health, or social services
- Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism
- Experience in Healthcare support (DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, caregiver)
- Experience supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one
- Experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA, or Registered Behavior Technician
