Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and collect data on student progress under the direction of the BCBA and classroom teacher. Support students in academic and social settings by reinforcing positive behaviors, promoting peer interactions, and developing communication and self-regulation skills. Provide direct assistance during classroom instruction, transitions, and unstructured times while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Collaborate regularly with staff to adjust strategies and ensure consistency across the school day. This full-time, school-year position requires the ability to relate to and work with disabled children, demonstrating excellent integrity and strong interpersonal skills with students, parents, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Have ability to relate to and work with disabled children
- Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Passed the Para Pro Test preferred
