Job Summary
Director of Billing oversees and manages all aspects of the company’s billing and revenue cycle operations. Responsible for ensuring accurate claims processing, timely collections, and compliance with payer, state, and federal requirements. Leads billing department, trains and supervises staff, monitors metrics, and collaborates with clinical/administrative teams to resolve discrepancies. Requires ABA billing experience and CentralReach proficiency; offers flexible remote schedules and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary starting at $90,000 to $130,000 DOE.
Required Qualifications
- ABA billing experience is required
- Three to five years of experience with CentralReach
- Lead and manage the billing department, including training and supervision of billing staff
- Oversee the full revenue cycle process including claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and collections
- Monitor billing metrics, generate reports, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Ensure compliance with payer regulations, Medicaid/Medicare rules, and state/federal requirements
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Develop, implement, and refine billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and cash flow
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of medical billing/revenue cycle management, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of ABA billing, coding, and payer requirements
- Proficiency with CentralReach, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with precision and attention to detail
