Job Summary
ABA Behavior Technician / Child Interventionist provides ABA-based instruction to young children affected by autism in their natural environments, typically home or school, using play-based activities to teach communication, sharing, play, waiting, and other essential skills. The role involves direct work with the child and family, requires outgoing, energetic, and friendly demeanor, and includes training to help pursue the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with guidance and financial assistance. The position is part-time (3:00pm–7:00pm, Monday–Friday) with opportunities for growth toward BCBA credentialing, and may involve driving to or within clients' environments; bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is preferred. Compensation ranges from $25.00 per hour (entry level, no RBT) to $27–$29 per hour (based on experience and RBT certification), with additional benefits such as tuition assistance and supervision toward credentialing.
