Job Summary
Provide direct ABA therapy to 4-6 clients following treatment plans, redirecting behaviors and assisting with personal care needs like dressing and hygiene. Document services accurately, collect numeric data, and communicate daily progress to parents and supervisors while maintaining strict HIPAA privacy compliance. Complete required technical training, participate in ongoing coaching, and organize client spaces to ensure facility safety and sanitation. Work under supervision within assigned areas, lifting up to 50 pounds, and attend team meetings. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successfully passed an initial and subsequent background checks (no history of felonies, substantiated client maltreatment or vulnerable adult incidents, or disqualifying misdemeanors)
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds
- Lift/carry/hold up to 25-50 pounds
- Push/pull up to 25-50 pounds
- Ability to work Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5:0pm
Desired Qualifications
- Previous behavioral therapy experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Knowledge of teaching procedures associated with Verbal Behavior Therapy
- General knowledge of typical and special needs clients
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations
