Job Summary
ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) provides 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home/community settings, conducts daily data collection, adheres to treatment/behavior plans, participates in team meetings, travels to multiple sites with reliable transportation, and meets credential requirements (RBT or BCAT) with a HS diploma and 18+ years old. Position offers pay $25-$30/hour, benefits for FT, and opportunities for growth; location is Fremont, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential (training provided by the company) or Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT)
- To be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma (some college/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in psychology, early childhood education/development, or related field preferred)
- One or more years of related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Work with children on the floor or at small tables
- Demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, bilingual is a plus
