Job Summary
ABA Behavior Technician responsibilities include implementing individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA, teaching communication/social/daily living skills, using reinforcement to increase desired behaviors, implementing behavior-reduction plans, collecting accurate data, preparing and documenting sessions, and collaborating with supervising BCBAs. The role supports after-school hours with children ages 2-18, includes data-collection software use, and requires adherence to BACB ethical guidelines and client confidentiality. Opportunities exist to train and support a BT toward obtaining RBT certification, with regular supervision and team participation.
