Job Summary
Provide a highly structured ABA-based instruction to elementary students, implementing pre-determined skill programs across academic, communication, motor, social, and adaptive daily living domains (including toileting, grooming, dressing, and eating using a systematic prompting sequence); collect data and graph progress daily; assist students in generalizing learned skills within general education settings; implement play plans and facilitate social interactions during unstructured times; collect student work and organize materials for educational programs and behavior charts; support students who may exhibit behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, or inattention; implement specific behavior protocols with data collection and graphing; maintain crisis-prevention certification and perform restraints as needed; consult with educators and behavior specialists; complete daily home communication log; attend required meetings and trainings after school; perform other duties as directed by school leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of ABA experience in a public school or private special education school or clinical environment or RBT Certification (to be completed within 90 days of hire) or an Associate’s Degree or 48 credits at the bachelor level in education or a related field.
