Job Summary
As a Behavior Technician at ABA Pathways, you’ll work directly with children and young teens with autism to help them build essential life skills. You will implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA, use positive reinforcement and play-based teaching to help children learn new skills, collect and track progress data with care and accuracy, collaborate with your supervisor and team, and build trusting relationships with children, families, and teammates. You’ll also complete session notes and other administrative tasks on time, with full training and ongoing professional development provided to become a certified Behavior Technician. The role involves supportive, compassionate work in clinic, in-home, or community settings, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel between locations as needed. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma (or equivalent), ability to pass a background check and TB test, a valid driver’s license or state ID, and reliable transportation. Preferred qualifications include CPR/First Aid certification, experience with ABA or education settings, and RBT coursework or certification.
