Job Summary
Execute and sign maintenance forms, tags, and paperwork per appropriate manuals, then release aircraft for service following Aloha Air Cargo or contract carrier procedures. Repair, service, and maintain aircraft systems, powerplants, airframe, avionics, and components while ensuring all safety and accident prevention measures are followed. Provide assistance in interpreting and resolving aircraft discrepancies and account for production and general upkeep of ground equipment supporting line maintenance activities. Travel to other locations as necessary based on operational needs. Perform all duties and special assignments directed by the Crew Chief or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Valid driver's license
- Current Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to pass a 5-year background check
- Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal history check
- Must be able to pass a security threat assessment
- Must be able to travel to work other locations as necessary based on operational and organizational needs
Desired Qualifications
- Two years A&P experience
- Previous electrical and avionics experience
