Job Summary
Coordinate with U.S. Customs and governmental agencies while managing charge transactions at the cargo counter and warehouse kiosk. Interact daily with diverse domestic and international customers, maintaining calm under pressure and ensuring good attention to detail. Process DG freight requiring specific FAA training in recognition, acceptance, handling, documentation, and storage, including annual recurrent courses. Maintain proficiency in English communication and 25 wpm typing skills. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company and its global clientele, supporting operational needs across international flights and load rooms.
Required Qualifications
- Customer Service training
- Jetstream training
- Hazmat awareness, acceptance, handling, documentation & storage
- Manifest desk
- Load room and/or International flights
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Recommended 25 wpm typing skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of customers and personalities
- Ability to be calm under pressure and stress
- Good attention to detail
- Comfort working around computers and technology
- DG Awareness training (4 hours)
- Ability to pass an eight (8) hour training course with a score of 95%
- Ability to pass annual recurrent training
