Job Summary
Field-based AAC Consultant / Speech-Language Pathologist to drive referrals, evaluations, and placements of speech-generating devices (SGDs) through direct engagement with referral sources, patients, and interdisciplinary care teams. Role requires five days per week in the field with in-person visits to referral sources and patients; responsibilities include clinical evaluations, device demonstrations, training, WIP management, documentation, and follow-up, with CRM/Brightree/SharePoint usage and adherence to HIPAA. Territory covers a 1.5-2 hour radius around Baton Rouge, LA, with travel and in-field engagement emphasized. Compensation includes base salary of $60,000 plus uncapped commissions and potential total annual compensation of $150,000+; growth is achieved through marketing, education, referrals, and ongoing product support of AAC devices and software.
Required Qualifications
- MS, CCC-SLP (preferred) or SLP-A considered
- Experience with AAC devices and software
- Strong clinical foundation with ability to perform patient evaluations
