Job Summary
Be compliant with applicable laws and Credo, lead accounting and daily operations for GSF Accounting process areas, ensure timely closing & execution of financial periods per closing calendar and SLA, ensure completeness/accuracy/validity of actuals, drive deep expertise in Worldwide Procedures and compliance, lead a team of B25 and below associates, support auditors and legal authorities, manage risks and maintain internal controls, engage in talent management and succession planning, recruit and mentor Process SMEs for cross-functional alignment, drive continuous improvement, and lead organizational change within the global finance function. The role includes up to 10-20% international travel and may involve alignment with global/regional responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s level degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years in Supervisory/1st Line Leader role in a Shared Service or BPO organization
- Experience in leading and managing large teams (~15 and above Team size headcount)
- Track record of participating in Continuous Improvement and/or organizational or process transformation
- Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a multi-national company
- Experience in multiple migration of work
- Demonstrates strong accountability for results in self and for team
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Knowledge of US GAAP; able to frame clear & concise communication across stakeholders
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10-20%)
- Fluent in English; other languages desirable
