Job Summary
Principal Systems Engineer for next-generation avionics computing solutions in Cedar Rapids, IA. Responsibilities include capturing requirements, design, test cases, and test procedures per ARP-4754B; integrating, validating, and verifying system functionality in the lab; technical collaboration across hardware, AEH, and software design; and resolving cross-domain technical problems. 5-10% travel as needed. Qualifications emphasize STEM degree with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years, experience with safety-critical software/hardware (DO-178C/DO-254/ARP4754A/B), and experience authoring and validating requirements. Excellent communication and adaptability are valued; travel and readiness to work onsite in Cedar Rapids are noted. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience

- Experience authoring and validating requirements
