Job Summary
First Officer (A220) with National Jet Systems across Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney bases. The role requires substantial fixed-wing experience and Australian aviation qualifications. Candidates must hold CASA ATPL(A) or CASA CPL(A) with relevant theory passes, plus a Multi Engine Aeroplane Class Rating and Instrument Rating with IAP 2D/3D, a Class 1 Medical Certificate, and English Proficiency. The position involves operating the A220 fleet, meeting two-pilot crew requirements, maintaining regulatory and security credentials (Aviation Security Identification Card) and undergoing routine drug/alcohol testing. Required Qualifications
- CASA ATPL (A) or CASA CPL(A) with passes in all Australian ATPL theory subjects
- Multi Engine Aeroplane Class Rating
- Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with IAP 2D and IAP 3D
- CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- English Language Proficiency Level 6
- Aviation Security Identification Card
- Willingness to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Current passport with unrestricted access to all Qantas-operating countries with at least 12 months validity
- Minimum flight time requirements: 500 hours fixed wing, 200 hours in command of multi-engine, 200 hours in turbine-powered fixed wing or in aircraft certified for operation by a crew of two pilots
