A/V Production Technician

Job Summary
Setup, operation, breakdown, inventory, and maintenance of broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment for over 200 events annually. Provide technical support throughout events as assigned while responding to client needs with friendly, respectful communication. Operate broadcast production and A/V equipment for Saints and Pelicans game day broadcasts, concerts, and special events. Work on special projects and perform all other duties as assigned. Requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; must pass criminal background check and possess five years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) years of experience in a related field
- Experience in broadcast production and A/V equipment for assigned responsibilities
- Must have a working knowledge of broadcast production, audio, video, lighting, and general A/V equipment
- Able to operate machines such as scissor and bucket lifts
- Able to work at heights over 50 ft
- Must be able to lift and push a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to stand for long hours during events
