Job Summary
Lead and coach a small AV team to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual systems for events and conferences, including Zoom/Teams integration, live events, and multimedia presentations. Collaborate with executives/clients to determine AV needs, transport and set up equipment, integrate AV with network infrastructure, and define system architecture. Manage projects, read as-built drawings and schedules, install permanent AV equipment in conference rooms, test signals, and ensure high-quality acoustics and sound systems. Maintain documentation, stay current with AV technologies, and travel to different sites as needed. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (or 9+ years experience in lieu), 5+ years of management of an AV team, and expertise with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron) and networking. Must be adaptable, able to make rapid decisions under pressure, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. The role is onsite in Falls Church, VA with travel; salary range $142,792-$172,500 depending on experience and location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years related AV experience
- 5+ years leadership/supervisory experience
- Knowledge in architecture and design of complex AV systems
- TEAMS/Zoom expertise
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Willingness to travel 10-25%
