Job Summary
Urology locum tenens opportunity in Cambridge, MA requiring general, pediatric, and adult urology with advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques. Responsibilities include 24-hour shifts with inpatient rounding, performing radical cystectomy, prostatectomy, nephrectomy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and ureteroscopy, and caring for adult, pediatric, and neonate patients. Involves 0-1 phone consults and 0-1 patients seen per 24 hours. Competitive hourly compensation in the $220-$275 range, with pre-paid travel and housing, and licensing assistance/cost reimbursement. Must be licensed and eligible for practice in Massachusetts; affiliated with Global Medical Staffing and NALTO.
Required Qualifications
- Medical MD or DO degree
- Urology board certification or eligibility
- Current medical license in MA or eligible for MA license
- Experience with advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic urology techniques
- Ability to perform radical cystectomy, prostatectomy, nephrectomy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy
- Ability to manage adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Inpatient rounding and 24-hour coverage ability
- Call coverage and flexibility
