Job Summary
Master Automotive Service Technician role focused on repairing and diagnosing vehicles, performing repairs to dealership and factory standards, conducting multi-point inspections, documenting work on repair orders, communicating with service advisors, and participating in ongoing manufacturer-sponsored training. Candidates should have extensive engine, electrical, brake, HVAC, and drivability knowledge, ASE/manufacturer certifications, tool proficiency, and a commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork. Responsibilities include road-testing when needed, ensuring vehicle cleanliness post-service, and adhering to all regulatory requirements. The position emphasizes technical proficiency, mentorship of novice technicians, and continuous learning within the Asbury framework.
Required Qualifications
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Must have basic tools
- Must have great technical and mechanical skills
- Must be a team player
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driverb1 license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
- Compliance with federal, state and local regulations including OSHA Right-to-Know
