Job Summary
Master Automotive Service Technician position at Larry H. Miller Ford Mesa (Asbury Automotive Group). Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards, perform multi-point inspections, document work and communicate needs with service advisors, and participate in ongoing manufacturer-sponsored training. Responsibilities include repairing major components, engine and electrical systems, braking systems, suspension, HVAC, instrumentation, drivability issues, and completing warranty work with accurate time-keeping. Maintain high CSI scores, deliver clean vehicles to customers, and adhere to safety, regulatory, and company policies. Requires ASE (and manufacturer) certifications, strong mechanical skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a valid driver’s license; basic tools are required. Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
- ASE certifications heavily preferred - Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Must have basic tools
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
- Team player with ability to work on complex tasks
- Understand and complete required training for regulatory compliance
