A-Shift Production Supervisor (Harvesting)

Job Summary
Oversee production quality and yield; ensure a safe working environment; review daily production orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requirements; monitor machinery, troubleshoot issues, and maintain peak equipment performance; verify compliance with USDA inspection standards; promote safety through daily practices and lead safety meetings; manage shipping, inventory rotation, and product coding; communicate benefits and policies to Team Members; motivate and develop a high-performing workforce; supervise processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors to solve production issues; maintain records on reworked or returned products; provide continuous education on quality; willing to perform physical requirements with or without accommodation; travel 1–5 trips per year.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a meat manufacturing environment (preferably pork or beef), plus 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience
- Education: High school diploma required; additional education or specialized training preferred
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Supervisory: Responsible for overseeing a team performing related tasks and activities
- Travel: 1–5 trips per year
