Job Summary
FAA Licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) is needed for a fully onsite role at KPNE in Philadelphia. Responsibilities include performing 50 hour inspections including oil changes and AD checks on exhaust systems, completing heavy 50 hour and annual inspections per IA requirements, installing/removing aerial cameras and sensors per FAA and manufacturer procedures, troubleshooting and completing line maintenance, replacing cylinders and engine components, performing sheet metal repairs, maintaining FAA and OSHA compliance, and keeping detailed maintenance records. The role requires the ability to work independently as a self-starter and as part of a team, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM, and offers benefits such as 401k, health and life insurance, vacation and sick time from day one. Five+ years of aircraft maintenance experience and the ability to read wire diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer manuals are required; candidates must own basic tools and have valid A&P certification with IA. Required Qualifications
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with Inspection Authorization required
- Five or more years of aircraft maintenance experience
- In depth knowledge of FAA regulations
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and functions.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to read wire diagrams, schematics and manufacturer manuals
- Must own basic tools
