Job Summary
A&P Mechanic with IA preferred needed on-site in Frederick, MD to maintain, repair, and inspect aircraft while installing/removing aerial cameras and sensors. Responsibilities include ensuring FAA/OSHA/compliancer standards, performing 50-hour/100-hour/annual inspections, conducting inspections and preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. FAA-compliant workmanship, ability to work in hangars and maintenance areas, and proficiency with FAA FARs and manufacturer procedures are essential. The role requires hands-on maintenance of aircraft systems and components, with a focus on safety and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- A&P Mechanic license/certification
- IA certification preferred
- FAA aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience installing/removing aerial cameras and sensors
- Knowledge of FARs and manufacturer procedures
- Ability to perform 50-hour, 100-hour, and annual inspections
- Ability to maintain maintenance records/logs
