Job Summary

Inspect airframes, engines, and components for wear, damage, or defects while performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance per manufacturer and FAA guidelines. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural systems, removing, installing, and testing engines, propellers, and related components. Complete and sign off maintenance logs, conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, and ensure compliance with FAA Part 43 and Part 145 regulations. Coordinate with pilots, inspectors, and other maintenance staff while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Requires valid FAA Airman's and Medical Certificates, A&P certification, and 10+ years in aviation maintenance leadership. Willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • Possess a valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airman's Certificate
  • Possess a valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Medical Certificate
  • Possess a valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Power plant (A&P) Certificate
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in aviation maintenance supervisor positions
  • At least 10 current years' experience in commercial aviation maintenance leadership
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience maintaining turboprop aircraft
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A&P school or military aviation maintenance training
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights/weekends if needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-critical environment with high attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience with the Pilatus PC-12
  • Avionics or NDT (non-destructive testing) knowledge
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet all FAA requirements and approval for the Director of Maintenance Designation
  • Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills
  • Proven background of engaging and motivating employees at all levels to maintain a cohesive team and high employee retention
