Job Summary
Conduct aircraft maintenance in compliance with 14 CFR, manufacturer specifications, and company policies. Execute maintenance work records, perform aircraft run-ups, taxis, and road trips to repair aircraft at stations other than the maintenance base. Clean aircraft after completing maintenance, assist with shift turnover reports, and participate in shift meetings. Conduct on-the-job training as assigned and maintain the maintenance work area in a clean and orderly condition. Open and close facility while adhering to material handling and control procedures. Requires current A&P certificate, two years professional aircraft maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current A&P certificate
- Must meet the recent experience requirements as stated in 14 CFR 65.83
- Must have basic mechanical skills
- Must own a basic set of aircraft maintenance tools
- Must take instruction and guidance well
- Must be goal oriented
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Must work well in team situations
- Must work well as an individual
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for long periods of time
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be able to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays
