A&P Mechanic - OCONUS

Job Summary
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on MD530F airframes and Rolls-Royce M250-C30 powerplants to restore aircraft to flying status per OEM technical publications. Replace defects in airframe, main rotor, transmission, or other parts while maintaining airworthiness standards and FAA regulations. Provide guidance on repair techniques and procedures, coordinate parts logistics, and prepare evaluations, special reports, and documentation. Clean aircraft interiors and exteriors, maintain work areas, and ensure all maintenance is logged correctly. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery in austere OCONUS environments, including Hamat Air Base, Lebanon, under a 90/30 rotation schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in rotary wing maintenance, civil and or military
- Must have Aviation mechanic certificate with Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) ratings
- Must have experience returning aircraft to service IAW part 43 using OEM logbooks or aftermarket maintenance software
- Ability to work in austere OCONUS environments
- Experience performing inspections, repairs, and replacements on MD530F aircraft and M250-C30 engines
- Inspection Authorization
- Candidate must have an active NACI with the ability to obtain a CAC
- Must have working knowledge of aviation publications including electronic manuals, drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Must demonstrate positive, polite, and professional behavior always when dealing with co-workers, customers, and all levels of management
- Must have the ability to communicate using clear, concise, and accurate English; both verbal and written are required
- Must have a valid passport
- Must be capable of passing a drug screen and is subject to random drug tests under Axxeum's Air Carrier and Air Agency Certificate
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull/move items frequently over 20 pounds
- Occasionally required to lift/carry/push/pull/move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- May be asked to perform Hazardous Flight duties as crewmember/non-crewmember
- Must be able to adapt to environments listed (aircraft hangar, warehouse setting, office setting and/or outdoors)
- This position requires being able to work comfortably outdoors and may be exposed to hot/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
- Must be able to sign a written statement acknowledging that they are employed at the will of the company and are subject to termination at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, and with or without cause
Desired Qualifications
- Should have High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical or Military School is desired
- Inspection Authorization is a plus
