Job Summary
The A&P Mechanic role involves performing maintenance functions on aircraft in compliance with company policies and federal regulations. Responsibilities include managing maintenance documentation, ensuring work quality and safety, coordinating with lead mechanics, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and inputting data into maintenance tracking systems. Candidates must possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant certifications and have two years of relevant experience with A320 series or similar aircraft. The physical demands of the job include lifting heavy components.
Required Qualifications
- FAA certificated mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Requires two (2) years of experience performing maintenance checks, engine changes, gear changes, structural repairs, flight control rigging, and component maintenance on A320 series or large similar type aircraft or completed accredited A&P mechanic training course
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain taxi and run-up qualification on all aircraft types within six months of assignment in Line Maintenance
- Position requires extremely strenuous physical work involving objects in excess of 100 lbs. occasionally, and in excess of 50 lbs. frequently
