Job Summary

Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in hands-on environments while delivering FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification. Demonstrate practical skills used by mechanics, maintain accurate records of attendance and grades, and support curriculum updates with program leadership. Manage classroom and lab equipment, ensure a safety-focused learning environment, and mentor technicians transitioning from field work to training roles. Flexible scheduling options include 4- or 5-day weeks, full-time and part-time positions, and day or evening shifts. No prior teaching experience is required; a 5-day paid instructor training program supports your transition. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Background as an A&P Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic, or Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT)
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven training environment
  • Flexibility to support evening or weekend schedules as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in aviation or related field
  • Interest in mentoring, coaching, and developing others
