A&P Mechanic

Job Summary
Perform inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on company aircraft; familiarize with manuals and submit changes to improve operations; comply with 14 CFR FAA requirements and manufacturer specifications; assist with shift turnover and participate in shift meetings; update fleet status information; conduct on-the-job training; maintain proper maintenance records and a clean work area; open/close facility; perform aircraft run-ups and taxis; travel to repair aircraft at other stations; adhere to material handling procedures; must hold current A&P certificate and have basic tools; able to lift 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current A&P certificate
- Minimum two years professional aircraft maintenance experience preferred
- Must have basic mechanical skills
- Must own basic set of aircraft maintenance tools
- Must take instruction and guidance well
- Must be goal oriented with attention to detail
- Must work well in team and individually
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must perform physically demanding tasks
- Must hold a valid US driver’s license
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
