Job Summary
A&P Certified Aircraft Inspector responsible for inspecting airframes and powerplants per FAA and company procedures, reviewing work packages for accuracy and completeness, ensuring airworthiness upon return to service, and performing receiving inspections for aircraft parts while signing maintenance releases; duties include ensuring aircraft are airworthy, following FAA specifications, air worthiness directives, and manufacturer instructions, with emphasis on quality workmanship and proper documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Verifiable aircraft inspection/maintenance employment within last 5 years
- Familiar with compliance of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Must pass all conducted drug/alcohol screening, background and security checks and prove eligibility for employment in the United States
- A valid state driver's license to meet the company's insurability requirements
