Job Summary
A&P Mechanic to perform system and function checkouts (static checks, hydraulic function checks, flight control rigging, fuel system checks and oxygen, etc.) per FAA requirements, remove/replace components per approved procedures, ensure precise inspection and function testing, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems safely under OSHA guidelines, and accurately log labor data for work orders and attendance. Requires High School diploma or GED and an A&P certificate with 3+ years of CRJ aircraft experience; proficient with hand tools and precision equipment; able to read diagrams/schematics; able to work on maintenance stands/lifts; able to lift 50 lbs; must be authorized to work in the USA.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate with 3+ years of experience as an aircraft mechanic on CRJ aircraft
- Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment
- Capable of reading and interpreting aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures
- Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
