Job Summary
A&P Certified Aircraft Inspector responsible for performing preliminary, hidden, in-progress and final inspections to certify airworthiness, reviewing work packages for accuracy, ensuring compliance with FAA specs and company procedures, and issuing proper maintenance releases. The role involves inspecting for paint defects as applicable, ensuring aircraft are airworthy upon return to service, and conducting receiving inspections for aircraft parts, in coordination with the Chief Inspector. Required Qualifications
- Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Meets requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83
- Verifiable aircraft inspection/maintenance employment within last 5 years, preferably with commercial or regional aircraft experience
- Familiar with compliance of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Must pass drug/alcohol screening, background and security checks and prove eligibility for employment in the United States
- A valid state driver’s license to meet insurability requirements
