Job Summary
A&P Mechanic - Flight Support: Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot airframe, avionics, engine, and propeller systems to ensure FAA-conformant airworthiness; document and maintain maintenance paperwork; troubleshoot discrepancies and recommend part changes or adjustments; may require overtime and travel; FAA A&P license or AMT required (students eligible to complete certification), Pratt & Whitney PT6A experience preferred, avionics background welcomed with training provided, able to work independently and in a team, strong problem-solving and customer-service skills, physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing; competitive wages with growth opportunities, shift Mon-Fri, PTO, holidays, bonuses, benefits, and 401K; relocation assistance not provided.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or AMT
- Will consider students who've done majority of coursework and still need to complete FAA Testing
- New graduates & experienced A&P mechanics encouraged to apply
- Experience with Pratt and Whitney PT6A engines preferred but not required
- Avionics experience is highly desirable – training provided
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions and fill out paperwork as needed
