Job Summary
A&P Mechanic – Elliott Aviation (Moline, IL): Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on turbine, piston, and jet aircraft; troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using approved technical data; remove, install, and service major components such as engines, landing gear, and flight control systems; conduct functional checks and operational tests to ensure airworthiness; document all maintenance activities per FAA and company policies; collaborate with inspectors and team members to maintain workflow and quality; comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures. Requires valid FAA A&P license and 2-3 years of relevant experience; own tools; ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- FAA A&P license
- Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience on corporate or general aviation aircraft
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Own tools
