A&P Instructor (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Teach FAA-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to students aspiring to become aircraft maintenance technicians. Deliver classroom and active hangar-based instruction, develop and revise high-quality course materials, record attendance and grades, communicate emerging student-performance concerns, complete required training and participate in classroom observations and evaluations, and perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor. Role supports mentoring and skill development, with schedule options spanning day or evening shifts across 4 or 5 days per week; candidates should have hands-on A&P experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and be able to work outside scheduled hours as needed. FAA A&P licensure is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree in a related field preferred
- At least three (3) years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate
