Job Summary
Interpret aircraft technical manuals and drawings while performing all airframe, power-plant, and propeller repairs and modifications in accordance with company and FAA requirements. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and parts replacement to return aircraft to service safely. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment while performing all assigned duties. This role offers immediate hire for contractors in San Antonio, TX, with shifts from 6am to 3:30pm, overtime availability, and competitive hourly compensation ranging from $17 to $20.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Tools and toolbox required
Desired Qualifications
- Airframe/Powerplant Mechanic (1 year preferred)
- Experience with Cargo/Commercial aircraft (1 year preferred)
- Airframe and Powerplant A&P license (preferred)
