Job Summary
A&P Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics) at FEAM Aero (LAX) performs line maintenance, routine maintenance, and airworthiness releases on customer aircraft, troubleshooting avionics and electrical systems, inspecting and maintaining aircraft and components, and ensuring compliance with FARs and manufacturer manuals. Responsibilities include collaborating with maintenance control, completing checklists and reports, testing instruments, laying out installations from blueprints, and participating in on-the-job training; preferred qualifications include experience with B747/B767/737NG avionics and strong organizational and customer-facing skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
- 2+ years’ experience in recent line maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to read and write English
