Job Summary
A&P Mechanic diagnoses, adjusts, repairs and/or overhauls aircraft and related systems. Responsibilities include examining aircraft components for cracks, leaks, or damage; conducting routine and special inspections; verifying maintenance per manuals and directives; maintaining repair logs; modifying aircraft structures, systems, or components; replacing faulty parts; assembling and installing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components; inventorying supplies; and coordinating with pilots, inspectors, and engineers to ensure aircraft readiness. Requires an A&P license, 3+ years of relevant experience, high school education (some college preferred), and the ability to work with basic hand tools and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant license
- High school education required; some college preferred
- 3+ years of equivalent military, trade school, or aircraft experience preferred
