Job Summary
Locum tenens Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician/Perinatologist in Albany, GA. 1-2 weeks monthly ongoing schedule with 20-25 patients daily (12 new and 12 follow-ups). Call coverage required with transport acceptance. Procedures include amniocentesis, cervical cerclage, and fetal echocardiography. OB hospitalists handle deliveries. Office closes at 1pm on Fridays. CompHealth handles credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage; assignment details accessed via online portal; recruiter manages details.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree or DO with medical license to practice in Georgia or eligibility
- Board-certified or eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (subspecialty)
- Ability to provide obstetric care coverage including high-risk pregnancies
- License/credentialing support and ability to credential in a timely manner
- Call coverage availability and willingness to transport patients as needed
