Job Summary
Locum tenens anesthesiologist needed in Connecticut for hospital-based coverage. Schedule typically Monday–Friday, 7 am–5 pm, with no mandatory call but potential overtime. General anesthesia cases including orthopedics, urology, gynecology, neurosurgery, and oncology; not handling major trauma, cardiac, complex vascular, OB, or pediatrics. Minimum commitment is 2 weeks per month; 3 full-time positions available ongoing. Hospital privileges required; paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Assignment details managed in online portal; Weatherby Healthcare consultant available 24/7. Charter member of NALTO. Compensation ranges from $300 to $400 hourly; all-inclusive with overtime, call, and holiday pay depending on assignment and experience.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with anesthesia board certification
