Job Summary
Provide regular social visits to a client in Forestville to engage in meaningful conversation, listen to life stories, and build rapport. Offer companionship and connection to support an older person experiencing memory changes, brightening their days through shared moments and reminiscing about cherished memories. Maintain a warm, patient approach with reliability for weekly or fortnightly one-hour visits between 9am and 4pm. This volunteer role is part of HammondCare's Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, funded by the Australian Government, connecting elderly residents with the local community.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
