A Lineman - Overhead (AP)

Construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems, including installing poles, insulators, conductors, and related hardware. Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques while troubleshooting faults. Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge, conducting pre-job and tailgate safety briefings. Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen. Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners, and pullers. Climb structures and work at heights in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind. Maintain safety protocols and possess comprehensive knowledge of switching, tagging, and grounding procedures. Available for outages, storms, emergencies, and on-call rotation. Requires five years of recent overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel long distances and work extended hours.
