Job Summary
Locum tenens Urologist needed for a small-town hospital with both outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities include performing 10-14 surgeries per week, handling approximately 25 patient encounters per day on Tuesdays/Thursdays and Fridays, and supporting a team that includes midlevel providers, an LPN, and MAs. Procedures may involve robot-assisted capabilities. EMR is EPIC. The assignment offers paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant. Assignment specifics are managed through Weatherby and include time entry in an online portal; the role is described within a Weatherby locum-tenens context with NABLO participation. Required Qualifications
- Urology board certification or eligibility
- valid medical license in the state of practice
- ability to perform urologic procedures as credentialed
- excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
- EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
