Job Summary
Locum tenens neurologist needed to cover 7am–7pm with a 7 days on / 7 days off pattern across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include 1–2 stat consultations per hour, telehealth opportunities, and providing inpatient/outpatient neurology coverage as required. Hospital privileges required; Weatherby Healthcare provides paid malpractice insurance and prepaid travel and housing expenses. Assignment details and time entry are managed in an online portal. Competitive compensation with support from a Weatherby consultant; charter member of NALTO.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD/DO) in neurology or equivalent
- Board certification in neurology or eligibility for board certification
- Active medical license in the United States
- Hospital privileges or ability to obtain
- Willingness to provide 7on/7off coverage and stat consultations as needed
