Job Summary
Facility in TX seeks a Gastroenterologist for 24/7 inpatient coverage. Inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers with no outpatient clinic. Procedures include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy/therapeutic measures, ERCP, colonoscopy with biopsy/polyp excision, liver biopsy, and esophageal procedures; PEG and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management. Paid malpractice insurance with pre-paid travel and housing. Assignment details and time entry documented in an online portal. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO through board-certified Gastroenterologist pathway
- Eligible for locum tenens in TX/WA region
- Inpatient GI procedures expertise (EGD with biopsy, ERCP, colonoscopy)
