Job Summary
Locums Psychiatrist needed for outpatient clinics in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include seeing 10-15 patients per day across two full days and a half-day weekly, providing care for adults with dual diagnosis and personality disorders, and overseeing injectable medications. The role requires collaboration with a nurse practitioner under a collaborative agreement and in-person work at both locations. CompHealth will assist with housing, travel arrangements, credentialing/licensing support, and malpractice coverage, with a dedicated recruiter handling assignment details and time entry. Location: Crafton, PA; Contract arrangement with ongoing support from a national healthcare staffing leader.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree
- Licensed to practice psychiatry in Pennsylvania
- Board-certified/eligible in psychiatry
- Ability to work in outpatient clinic setting
- Experience with adult dual diagnosis and personality disorders
- Collaborative practice with nurse practitioner; injectable medication oversight required
- Willingness to work at both locations in person
- Locum tenens experience preferred
