Job Summary
Conduct inpatient infectious disease consults and follow-ups for a daily census of 25 to 35 patients, managing an average of 6 to 10 new inpatient ID consults per day. Work a schedule from 7 am to 5 pm, primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with some full weeks available. Handle 0 to 2 average overnight calls after hours and complete assignment details and time entry through the online portal. Board Certification in Infectious Disease is required. This role offers paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant.
